14-12-2017 Turret mills are so much more versatile than these Huron style mills that I wouldn't even consider one of these unless you intend to do a lot of bog-standard milling of reasonably large parts. True, they are typically stiffer than a turret mill (but not this flimsy looking little thing) but they are clunky for anything other than taking milling cuts on longish parts with power feed.
